Job Description
We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for students who are passionate about IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and Microsoft technologies. As an Intern System Administrator & Microsoft Support, you will gain hands-on experience in system administration, Microsoft 365 support, and IT security. You will work alongside our IT team to assist in maintaining systems, supporting end-users, and learning real-world troubleshooting and configuration skills.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration
-
Assist in maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Servers (2016/2019/2022).

Learn to manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies (GPOs).

Support regular updates, patches, and backup operations.
-
Monitor system performance under supervision to ensure infrastructure availability.

Gain exposure to virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware).
-
Support file servers, print servers, and storage solutions (SAN/NAS).

Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing activities.
Microsoft Support
-
Provide first-level support for Microsoft products (Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Assist in administering Microsoft 365 environment (user accounts, licenses, mailboxes, Exchange Online).

Troubleshoot common Microsoft 365 issues (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive sync).

Learn to configure Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager for device compliance and security.

Support Azure Active Directory (AAD), MFA, and Conditional Access policies.
Networking & Security
-
Support the monitoring of network devices (firewalls, switches, routers) as guided.

Assist in managing VPN access and connectivity.

Gain exposure to IT security practices including firewalls, anti-virus, and patch management.

Learn about SSL certificates, security policies, and compliance standards.
User Support & Helpdesk

Act as support for user issues related to hardware, software, and network access.

Assist with escalated Helpdesk tickets under supervision (Level 2/3 support).

Provide basic end-user training and documentation for Microsoft products.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Basic understanding of Microsoft technologies, virtualization, and networking concepts.
Basic knowledge of:

Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)

Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, Intune

Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell) is an advantage.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on technical challenges.
Positive learning attitude, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work in a team.
