Job Description
We are offering an internship opportunity for motivated students interested in gaining hands-on experience in Electrical and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems. As an Electrical Technician Intern, you will assist our technical team with site installations, wiring, troubleshooting, and system testing for projects involving CCTV, Door Access, and Network systems. This role provides valuable exposure to real-world technical practices and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in troubleshooting and testing equipment at project sites.
Support wiring and installation work for ELV systems (CCTV, Door Access, Network, etc.).
Help with installation, termination, and testing of low-voltage wiring.
Assist in running and pulling cables through walls, ceilings, conduits, and other spaces.
Support mounting and connecting cameras, DVR/NVR units, and other surveillance equipment.
Learn to configure basic system settings including IP addressing and network integration.
Assist with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of existing systems.
Observe and learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Follow safety codes, regulations, and company procedures at all times.
Support documentation of installation, service, and repair activities.
Communicate with team members and clients under supervision to explain system operations.
