Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ELV Technician to join our team. The role involves handling installation, wiring, testing, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including CCTV, door access, and networking systems. The successful candidate will ensure all tasks are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Install, terminate, and test low-voltage wiring for CCTV, door access, and networking systems.
Run and pull cables through walls, ceilings, conduits, and other structures.
Mount, connect, and configure cameras, DVR/NVR units, access control panels, and related equipment.
Set up system configurations, including IP addressing and network integration.
Perform system interconnections between devices to ensure seamless operation.
Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on installed systems.
Test systems to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company standards during all tasks.
Label and organize cables and equipment systematically for efficient servicing.
Prepare documentation of installation, service, and repair activities.
Communicate with clients to provide basic user training and explain system operations.
Training & Development
Participate in product training provided by partner brands.
Access in-house training programs to enhance technical expertise and product knowledge.
